Blend a Cultural Lesson with Championship Golf on King's Golf Trail

Six unique golf courses on Hawai`i’s Big Island offer the royalty treatment for adventurous golfers.

Outdoor adventure enthusiasts from all over the world come to Hawai`i’s Big Island to experience “Everything Hawai`i from Chill to Sizzle” and golf has always been a major attraction on the Island of Adventure. Due the sheer size of the Big Island, which has twice as much land as the other Hawaiian islands combined, it’s no surprise that there are more courses located here than anywhere else in Hawai`i. Now players can combine rounds on some of the top courses throughout Hawai`i’s Big Island with the “King’s Golf Trail.”

In ancient times, a footpath referred to as the King’s Trial extended completely around Hawai`i’s Big Island including the six miles of stunning coastline called the Kohala Coast. That path can still be seen today as it winds its way across lava fields, linking six championship golf courses together in the “King’s Golf Trail.”

With the King’s Golf Trail promotion, players can follow in the footsteps of the ancients surrounded by modern day luxury as they play these six courses:

As players travel along the King’s Trail, they will experience diverse courses testing a variety of golf skills. At each course a King’s Golf Trail Card will be validated. When a player has navigated all of them, they must complete the information on the back of the card and present it to a golf shop staff member prior to their final round.

All participants who complete the King’s Golf Trail will be entered into a drawing to win one of three Dream Golf Vacations to return to the Kohala Coast for a 3 Night/3Day/2 Person Golf Package. In addition, they will be sent a beautiful Certificate of Accomplishment, suitable for framing. They will also become a member of the Kings’ Trail Golf Club making them eligible for future offerings and promotions as they are developed.

There is no charge for the card. Just ask a golf staff member for the card and get started on the ancient path through the King’s Golf Trail.
