HULA KAI WELCOMES SUMMER WITH SNORKEL & SUNSET CRUISE

06/13/2008

KEAUHOU BAY, HAWAII’S BIG ISLAND June 2008 – All aboard for a luxurious ocean excursion where relaxation and rejuvenation can be found aboard Hula Kai’s Snorkel & Sunset Cruise this summer. The daily seasonal cruise begins June 15 to August 31, 2008.

With posh amenities, gourmet foods and spectacular Kona sunsets this is a must-do experience for visitors and residents as Hula Kai explores hidden Hawaii for diving and snorkeling.

Guests aboard the Hula Kai will visit exotic snorkeling and scuba locations along a ten-mile secluded stretch along the South Kona coastline. Hula Kai captains utilize their decades of extensive ocean knowledge to determine optimal conditions for snorkel and dive sites. Highlights include underwater lava arches, historic lava flows and sea caves. While exploring see dolphins, moray eels, eagle rays, whales and an abundance of fish including tangs and triggers. ‘Sea Rockets’ are available for the advanced snorkeler who seeks an easier mode of ‘free-diving.’ Scuba gear is also available with experienced guides to assist with instruction. All snorkel gear is included.

After the underwater snorkel exploration, guests will definitely work up an appetite. Rest assured, the Hula Kai staff will be preparing a sumptuous barbecue served alongside a scenic location. Post- barbecue, settle into the comfortable seating while sipping a favorite beverage without ever missing a breathtaking Kona sunset. Camera’s recommended.

Hula Kai Snorkel & Sunset four- hour seasonal cruise departs daily at 3:00 p.m. returning at Sunset ~ 7:15 p.m. to Keauhou Bay. Cost is $125 per person. Cruise is limited to 42 passengers. For reservations or more information go to www.fair-wind.com
